TaylorMade Golf donates to The Red Cross Children's Hospital Burns Unit

TaylorMade Golf has donated R124 900 to The Red Cross Children's Hospital Burns Unit.

Over the last month TaylorMade hosted four regional Invitational events to thank their sponsored on-course professionals for all their hard work. Professionals were treated to a fantastic series of golf events played at Steenberg, Royal Johannesburg, Simola Estate and Durban Country Club. The top two on-course professionals from each regional event went through to the national final at Arabella on 10 and 11 November.

The on-course professional winner of the tournament was Ian Kennedy from Steenberg Golf Club and 69 year old Durbanite; Chris Wood won the amateur division.

All the money raised through donations and auction items at the events was doubled by TaylorMade and a final figure of R124 900 was handed over to The Red Cross Children's Hospital Burns Unit at a glittering poolside function held at the five star Arabella Western Cape Hotel and Spa on Wednesday, 10 November.
