Who we are: a prominent global FMCG company.

Who we're seeking: an experienced SA logistics PPM to consistently optimise BU South Logistics costs.

Responsibilities:

Annual plan:

• Lead the annual planning process for BU South Logistics.
• Communicate plan details and milestones to the logistics team.
• Monitor plan implementation and define departmental targets.
• Collaborate with zone procurement and GPO on cost estimations.
• Prepare budget calculations and management review presentations.

Monthly actuals reporting/analysis:

• Ensure accurate reporting aligned with control guidelines.
• Assist with commodity tracking and risk management inputs.
• Coordinate monthly reporting with zone logistics team and other departments.
• Conduct variance analysis and develop gap-closing action plans.
• Prepare monthly result reviews with BU South Logistics Director.

Monthly full-year forecast outlook (LE):

• Prepare LE for BU South Logistics, identifying opportunities and risks.
• Consolidate and report LE to the zone logistics PPM team.
• Work with BBP to understand any variances and address them.

Champions:

• Drive the champions process for price and performance initiatives.
• Identify project owners and ensure monthly updates.
• Coordinate reporting with zone logistics and BU South ZBB teams.
• Conduct strategic studies and financial evaluations for business projects.

Requirements:

Education:

• Relevant three-year university degree, MBA/CIMA/CA(SA) advantageous.

Experience:

• Three-plus years finance experience in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in product costing, financial reporting, and ERP systems.
• Project management skills and experience working in a process-oriented environment.

Technical competencies:

• Proficient in MS Office and reporting tools like Cognos, TM1, BI.
• Knowledge of ERP Systems SAP R/3 Module FI/CO, SAP BW.
