Key responsibilities:
  • Lead meticulous planning and execution of diverse events, including conferences, weddings, gatherings, and collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budgets, ensuring seamless coordination with vendors, and suppliers.
  • Demonstrate financial management, overseeing budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to enhance services continually. Additionally, manage venue cleanliness, bookings, staff supervision, equipment rentals, and catering liaisons.
  • Employ a multi-channel marketing approach for event promotion.
  • Manage administrative tasks with precision and enforce security protocols rigorously.
Minimum requirements:

Qualifications
  • Preference will be given to those holding a bachelor’s degree in events management, hospitality, or related disciplines.
Experience
  • We prefer a minimum of five years' experience as a venue or event manager, specializing in conferences and weddings.
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools is advantageous.
Skill set expectations
  • Demonstrated proficiency in developing and executing promotional strategies, along with an extensive understanding of various marketing channels and techniques.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities are paramount, facilitating the cultivation of fruitful relationships with both clients and colleagues.
  • Exemplary organisational skills, complemented by a demonstrated capacity for efficient time management.
